Dean's decision
The
Central Medical Library sometimes encounters problems with users who do not
return checked-out publications, which reduces the number of the Library’s
rich resources. The following information is issued as a reminder:
Doctoral
dissertations, masters’ theses, encyclopedias, dictionaries and books that
are unique to the Library’s collection cannot be checked out from
the CML.
If
the Library owns more than one copy of a book or monograph, that item may be
checked out, but the borrower is obliged to return it within a month from
the date of checkout.
If
the user does not return borrowed material by the due date indicated in
point 2 of this reminder, he/she will lose the right to borrow or consult
any kind of publications from the Library.
All
publications currently checked out must be immediately returned to
the Library in order to be in line with the statements given in points 1 and
2 of this reminder.
Prior
to graduation from the Medical Faculty, students should return all
borrowed books to the Library. Library staff will then give a signed confirmation
that the student does not have any Library books in his/her possession.
Students who do not comply with this regulation will not receive a diploma
for graduate studies.
This decision is effective as of 24 December, 2000.
